The evolution of the buffaloes

Ho avuto l'occasione di assistere in diretta alla nascita di una semi bufala: parlo della vicenda delle irregolarità nel voto degli italiani in Repubblica Ceca, per l'elezione del Parlamento Europeo. Ne avevo già parlato qui e here.

On the internet hoaxes spread very quickly, especially when they take on issues in which people are sensitive: scandals, abuse of animals, and of course politics. Ma la perla più bella la trovate in questo articolo di Massimo Recchioni.

Il Sig. Recchioni, si premura di correggere la stupidaggine dei dieci seggi. Il comunicato stampa ufficiale, riportava infatti:

Poi, essendo stati alcuni dei firmatari rappresentanti delle stesse nei 2 (DUE) seggi costituiti in Repubblica Ceca (dove tra Praga e Brno hanno votato 355 aventi-dirittto), nella mattinata di ieri lunedi' 8 giugno ci si e' accorti di qualcosa di quanto meno strano. Sembrava che i seggi in tale Paese fossero in realta' diventati 10.

e nell'articolo che ho linkato viene modificato così:

Poi, essendo stati alcuni dei firmatari rappresentanti delle stesse nei 2 (DUE) seggi costituiti in Repubblica Ceca (dove tra Praga e Brno hanno votato 355 aventi-dirittto), nella mattinata di ieri lunedì 8 giugno ci si è accorti di qualcosa di quanto meno strano. Sembrava che i seggi in tale Paese fossero in realtà diventati 10 (questa cosa si è poi spiegata col fatto che le comunicazioni di cui parla il sito sono le diverse Circoscrizioni, e quindi questo dato è l’unico a quadrare, perché 2 seggi x 5 Circoscrizioni fa 10 comunicazioni) .

Tuttavia il Sig. Recchioni non ha riletto, e la maestra diceva sempre di rileggere. Infatti gli è sfuggito che ancora adesso, poche righe più sotto, l'articolo riporta questa frase:

Nel sito del Ministero dell’Interno, piano piano venivano inseriti voti e votanti. I dati relativi agli italiani che hanno votato in Repubblica Ceca davano circa 600 voti validi con un elevato numero di voti per il PdL.
Alla fine, il Viminale indicava the final number (10 sections, in reality there were only 2).
